Johnny Depp Can Rock!!!

The MAIN reason I have respect for Johnny Depp is his willingness to appear on this record. But enough about him. He's famous enough. This is a ultra rare record of the band "P". They are a band. Not a liquid or a fruit. The "super group" lineup consisted of Mr. Depp(guitar and bass) Gibby Haynes of Butthole Surfers, Bill Carter(guitar and bass) with Steve Jones, yes that one. Andrew Weiss of Rollins band and my personal fave Scornflakes. and Flea. These two songs are GREAT! there are more but you'll have to buy a copy. That is if you can find it!

In general I'm a very happy man. Most of my friends may even say I'm a "glass half full" or a " Things aren't that bad" type of guy. However, I LOVE Depressing dark suicide songs!!! So I'm going to help all of you other fuckers out. I'm new to this but I think I can keep adding songs to one post. If anyone out there wants to kill themselves PLEASE do it to my playlist! Half Man

This is the Swedish band not the screamo one. Mostly bluesy, they got lumped into the "stoner" genre. I am posting two songs. One is a PJ Harvey cover that is really good. The other is just a rocker. I will also ask anyone who has any info on how I can buy this record let me know. All I see now is downloadable songs which I don't really like. It's the whole holding onto something that I pay for thing. Anyway, enjoy!

This is one of my all time favorite local bands. My band used to open for them quite frequently. The guitar player , Mad Lee, is the only person I've ever seen who's right hand is so fast it actually is blurry. He is now in a band called "Mad Lee's Union". You should buy all his stuff. He is now selling this record on ebay. Oh and I didn't mention, He plays an original "silverburst" Gibson Les Paul. I've tried to get it off of him for years but he's too smart. This is a GREAT band called Scratch Acid. It contained David Yow who went on to form Jesus Lizard. I'm not a fan of Jesus Lizard but I LOVE Scratch Acid. I think it's because Yow's style was more freeform in Scratch Acid and more rigid in the latter.

This is a rare Butthole Surfer track. It can only be found on the "Smack My Crack" comp. The label is Giorno Poetry Systems Institute. It came out in 1987 and has a couple of really good tracks on it. I may get to posting some. I may not. But it also contains a GREAT Tom Waits track, a Nick Cave track, A William S Burroughs track and a Swans track.

This is a VERY rare Butthole surfers cover! King Koffee says he only remembers playing this song once. Fortunately for me he is wrong. I heard it in 1986 at City Gardens in Trenton NJ. This version is from 1986 in Holland or Denmark or The Netherlands. I get them all confused.
